Early Encouragement for Talented and Highly Talented Students

 

Aachen Model I

About 30 highly talented primary school students are supported in Aachen Model I. They come to RWTH Aachen twice a month and become familiar with mathematical ideas that are not normally taught in school.

Topics include: 

• How one wins: mathematical analysis of games
• How one counts without counting: combinatorics
• How does one solve logic riddles?
