The SIAM Student Chapter at RWTH Aachen University would like to cordially invite all interested Bachelor-, Master-, and Ph.D.-level students to our first event:
INDUSTRY MEETS MATHEMATICS

The event will include presentations from three companies:
ESA: European Space Research and Technology Center: 15:00
d-fine Group: Financial and Risk Management Consulting: 16:00
ESI Group: Computer Aided Engineering and Prototyping: 17:00
In their talks, representatives from companies will give insights into some of the challenging tasks relating to applied mathematics which they face in their daily work.
During and after the event, there will be sufficient time for informal discussions with the industry representatives.
Additionally, a few Ph.D.-students from RWTH Aachen University will give short presentations on their fields of research in order to improve communication across different research groups within our university.
